The challenge
ODR sat at 1.9% against a 1% target, driven by A-to-Z claims and negative feedback on two SKUs with a battery fault. The Account Health Rating showed At Risk and a suspension warning had arrived.
What we did
- Traced 71% of defects to the two SKUs; paused them and issued proactive replacements to open orders.
- Rewrote the returns and messaging playbook so claims were resolved before they became A-to-Z.
- Weekly monitoring of every Account Health metric with a rule for who acts when a metric crosses 60% of its limit.
The results
ODR 0.3% after 60 days; Account Health Rating Healthy; the warning expired without enforcement. The two SKUs returned with a new supplier batch and a 30-day quality hold.
