Copyright & Takedown Notice

Last updated September 4, 2026

Effective date: 4 September 2026

Deed Bangladesh IT Limited respects intellectual property. If you believe content on this website, or a listing, advertisement or website we manage for a client, infringes your copyright, trademark or other rights, please follow the procedure below. It is modelled on the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applies worldwide.

1. Where to send a notice

Designated agent: Copyright Agent, Deed Bangladesh IT Limited, 101 Deed Avenue, Rajshahi, Bangladesh-6230. Email: [email protected] with the subject line "Takedown notice".

For content hosted on Amazon or Walmart, the fastest route is the marketplace's own reporting tool (Amazon "Report infringement", Walmart "Report a listing"), since only the marketplace can remove a listing. You may notify us in parallel.

2. What a notice must include

  • Identification of the work or mark you say has been infringed (title, registration number or a link to the original).
  • The exact URL or location of the material you want removed, with enough detail for us to find it.
  • Your name, company, postal address, email and phone number.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights owner or authorised to act for them.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices may be returned for more information. Knowingly making a false claim can make you liable for damages and costs.

3. What we do

We acknowledge complete notices within 2 business days. Where the material is on our own website we remove or disable it promptly, usually within 5 business days, and notify the person who posted it if any. Where the material belongs to a client we forward the notice to the client, ask for proof of rights, and stop working on that material until the matter is resolved. We may share your notice, including your contact details, with the person whose content is affected.

4. Counter-notice

If material you posted was removed and you believe it was by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address containing: the URL of the removed material; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake; your name, address, email and phone; your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Rajshahi, Bangladesh (or, for US residents, the federal court for your district) and to accept service from the person who filed the original notice; and your signature. We forward counter-notices to the complainant, and may restore the material after 10 to 14 business days unless the complainant tells us they have started court proceedings.

5. Repeat infringers

We end our engagement with clients who repeatedly infringe the rights of others, in line with our Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Other complaints

Reports about defamation, privacy, trademark or other rights that are not copyright can use the same procedure; please state clearly which right is involved.
