The challenge

Amazon's category re-mapping turned 61 active listings into "stranded" overnight. The seller was paying storage on $92,000 of inventory that could not be sold, and the removal deadline was 30 days.

What we did

Pulled the Stranded Inventory report, grouped the 61 SKUs by stranded reason (missing attributes, listing suppressed, variation broken).
Fixed the required attributes in bulk with a flat file; rebuilt three broken parent–child families.
Opened cases for the nine listings where the block came from Amazon's side and followed each to closure.

The results

All 3,400 units sellable within 48 hours; 52 SKUs fixed by flat file, nine through cases. The seller sold through the stock in the following six weeks instead of paying removal fees on it.
